OUR STORY
OUR STORY
Our story began with a group of citizens from the Jefferson City area who had been active in the Central Missouri Stop Human Trafficking Coalition in Columbia. They decided to explore the possibility of forming a group to serve the Jefferson City area. In the fall of 2023, we began meeting informally in local coffee shops. By March of 2024, we had started naming our group and exploring becoming our nonprofit organization. By the end of September 2024, we had received our Incorporation Certificate from the State of Missouri and our 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS. Our group has been growing ever since! We would love for you to join us at our Monthly meetings!
Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of each month

Looking forward to July, we have our Community Meeting on Monday, the 20th, featuring guest speaker Diana Haines.
Diana Haines is the Director of Anti-Trafficking Operations at the Missouri Attorney General’s Office, where she leads statewide efforts to combat human trafficking. She has served the State of Missouri for 16 years, including four years with the Missouri Attorney General’s Office. She works closely with law enforcement, prosecutors, victim advocates, and community partners to provide training, strengthen collaboration, and enhance outcomes for victims of trafficking across Missouri. If you want to learn how MO has increased its efforts and how that effects you or your agency, you won't want to miss this.
