Our upcoming Community Meeting is scheduled for Monday, Sept 15th, at 6:30 p.m.
We are delighted to welcome Kate Amick, Executive Director of Common Ground Community Building, where she leads with empathy and purpose to support families facing poverty in Jefferson City. She also serves as the board secretary for Capital City Diaper Bank and participates in the City of Jefferson's Public Transit Advisory Commission. Additionally, Edwin Cooper, Benevolence Coordinator at Common Ground Community Building, will join us. With nearly 30 years of experience in Missouri state agencies and strong ties to faith-based and community service, including roles with the Missouri Department of Mental Health, the Missouri Housing Development Commission, the University of Missouri, and Lincoln University Extension. Edwin also serves as an Advisory Board Member with the Salvation Army, Vice President of Housing the Community Jefferson City, and Chair of Project Homeless Connect.
